Desalination

R4RD’s Mission

  • Educate the public about ocean water desalination;
  • Protect local control of water resources and marine life;
  • Advocate the highest and best uses of technology and practices
    that minimizes environmental and
    health impacts; and,
  • Promote environmentally preferable alternatives to ocean water desalination,
    such as water conservation, reclamation,retention, and recycling.
